Wycliffe Nyangwara Kerima

Funeral services for Wycliffe Kerima, age 43, of Milaca, will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at 12 Noon at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Bauer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Wycliffe Nyanqwara Kerima (everyone called him Wicks or Wicky) was born October 26, 1973 in Kenya. He grew up in Kenya and later moved to Minneapolis, MN. Wycliffe worked at Richfield Health Care Center where his kindness, empathy and compassion always shone through with everyone he cared for there. He was united in marriage to Kristina Dubany on August 16, 2007 in Richfield, MN. He enjoyed soccer, tennis, camping and fishing. He was very devoted to his daughters and spent much timing teaching them reading and math and his love for soccer. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters on Monday, July 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Kristina; daughters, Issy and Lyla; mother, Truphenah Mekubo; siblings, Boniface Kerima, Nicholas Kerima, Irene Scales and Philip Kerima; mother-in-law, Carol Dubany; also by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Zachary Mekubo Kerima; grandmother, Naomi Bosibori and grandmother-in-law, Janis Ledeen.
