Wanda Josephine Murray

Mass of Christian Burial for Wanda Murray, age 103, of Foley, formerly of Foreston, will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston.  Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Monday at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with a rosary service at 7:30 PM.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Wanda Josephine Murray was born December 12, 1914 to Anthony and Helen (Stryzwski) Wojciechowski in Gilman, MN.  She was united in marriage to Lawrence Murray on November 26, 1936 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston.  The couple farmed west of Foreston.  Wanda passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Foley Nursing Center.

She is survived by her children, Carol (Jim) Tyson of Deltona, FL, Richard (Rosann) Murray of Foreston, Gary (Terry) Murray of Rochester, Nancy (Richard) Barnaby of Beaumont, CA and Randi Konsbruck of St. Cloud;  13 grandchildren;  17 great-grandchildren;  brother, Arnold (Sarah) Wojciechowski of Foley;  also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Babe” Murray;  sons-in-law, Sheldon Siemers and Peter Konsbruck;  siblings, Harry (Mel) Wojciechowski, Ed (Leona) Wojciechowski, Jim Wojciechowski, Mary (Arvid) Johanson and Marssy (Pat) Cheeley.
