Virginia Wills

Virginia Wills, age 94, of Milaca, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca.  Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Virginia Agnes Wills was born in Ayr, North Dakota to Paul and Elizabeth (Firkus) Melanson on September 24, 1928.  She was united in marriage to Jim Wills on May 27, 1947 in Milaca.  She worked at Fingerhut and Milaca Mills.

Virginia enjoyed cats, bowling, gardening, sewing, cooking, and baking.

She passed away April 13, 2023 at her residence in Milaca.

Virginia is survived by her two sons, Robert (Ginger) Wills and Stephen (Patty) Wills; 12 grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 33 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  husband of 64 years, Jim; daughter in infancy, Beatrice Elizabeth; sons, Donald Wills and James Wills, Jr.; a granddaughter; sisters, Irene Thompson, Marge Bender, and Helen Lovelett.
