Trayce Otto

February 15, 1992 — March 24, 2024

Milaca

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 4, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca for Trayce Scott Otto, age 32, who unexpectedly passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. Father Timothy Gapinski will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 AM prior to mass.

Trayce was born February 15, 1992 in St. Cloud, MN to Scott and Linnea (Novak) Otto. Trayce had a deep love for family, friends, and adventure. It was not unlike him to pack a bag for a spur of the moment trip and take off across the country excited to meet new friends and experience new things. Through all of his travels, Montana won his heart and it became his dream to make this peaceful place his forever home. Trayce was a giver, always willing to help anyone with whatever he could. He spent a lot of time running here and there to change a tire, fix something broken, or just help out.  Time Trayce spent with family and friends was always enjoyed. He was a fun uncle who was always ready to wrestle and play and always had a dollar in his pocket for the niece and nephews. He was a big kid in a man’s body. Trayce enjoyed many hobbies, but his favorites were hunting, fishing, cooking, listening to music, dancing and spending time in nature.

Trayce will be remembered for his big laugh, hugs, smile, and personality and his unforgettable unique talent for bird whistling.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Linnea (Novak) Otto of Milaca; son, Mason Kloss-Otto of St. Cloud;   grandpa, Dale Otto of Milaca; grandparents, Doug and Johnelle Novak of Gilman; siblings, Tearza (Aaron) Jones of Foley, and Ted Otto of Grand Rapids, Michigan; niece and nephews, August, Archie, Anja, and Abraham; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandma, Sandee Otto who we know was waiting to greet him with a big hug.
