Tom Litfin, age 100, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 4 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Visitation will take place from 3 – 4 PM Wedensday at the funeral home. Private interment will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at Little Falls at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to City of Milaca (Veterans Memorial Fund) or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Milaca. No thank yous will be sent.

Thomas Francis Litfin was born March 13, 1923 to Francis and Aletha (Riffe) Litfin in Waverly, MN. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was united in marriage to Lela Guse on January 3, 1949 in Litchfield, MN. Tom was the owner operator of Litfin Recreation. He was a member of the Milaca American Legion, earning his 75 year pin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.

He is survived by sons, Jim (Kay) of Milaca and Bob (Darlene) of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Mindy (Troy) Johnson, Mitchell (Jaclyn) Litfin, Randy Larsen and Bill (Carrie) Larsen; great-grandchildren, Braxtyn and Jaydyn Johnson, Danielle(Brandon) Akron and Brian Larsen.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela and son, Michael.
