Therese Viaene

Therese Viaene, age 92, of Princeton, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025. A prayer service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Visitation will take place from 10:30 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest with many relatives at the Saint Louis Cemetery in Foreston.

Therese Mary Viaene was born July 18, 1932 to Joseph and Clara (Yerken) Viaene in Foreston, Minnesota. She attended grade school in Foreston and graduated from Milaca High School. After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis, where she found work. When she retired, she, a sibling, and a cousin moved to Elk River, where they lived for many years. Later, they moved to the Milaca area, finishing her life at Sterling Pointe Assisted Living in Princeton, being cared for by Pamela Tarbell.

Therese loved traveling, reading, and being with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing Parcheesi and Yahtzee with Don, her brother and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and five sisters.
