Terry Johnson

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Terence A. “Terry” Johnson on February 16, 2026 at the age of 68. He passed at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Mary’s Campus, with family and wrapped in love by life partner, Nancy Berge.

Terry was born and raised in Milaca, MN and lived a life marked by compassion and kindness to family and friends.Terry spent the majority of his career as a surveyor for MNDOT. He enjoyed retirement to the fullest, spending time hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and participating in bowling league. Terry loved family gatherings and traveling with Nancy Berge. They enjoyed many camping and motorcycle trips throughout the United States. Terry also enjoyed winters in Arizona with Nancy.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Jane (Holmer) Johnson.  He is survived by life partner, Nancy Berge; brothers Mike Johnson and Greg (Jodie) Johnson; sister, Nancy (Steve) Bade; also by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

A celebration Terry’s life will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1 – 4 PM at the Gorecki Community Center in Milaca. Private family burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.
