Stephanie Marie Johnson

Funeral services for Stephanie Johnson, age 12, of Milaca, will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Milaca Evangelical Free Church.  Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock.  Visitation will be from 10 AM - 12 Noon at the church on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House at Children's Hospital - Minneapolis.

Stephanie Marie Johnson was born November 14, 2005 to Chad and Melissa (Wokson) Johnson in Princeton, MN. Stephanie was a student at Milaca Public School.  She had a zest for life.  She loved basketball, playing outside and being with her friends.  She made her friends laugh and had an infectious laugh and smile. She loved her dogs and cats. Stephanie was an awesome friend, mentor, granddaughter, sister, niece and daughter.  We thank all of our friends and amazing family members for their support through this time.  Stephanie was a donor and her gift was able to save five lives.

She is survived by her mother, Melissa Marie Johnson of Milaca;  father, Chad Johnson (Shawny Marois) of Milaca; sister, Kaylee Johnson; grandparents, Virgil (Roxi) Johnson of Milaca and Jeune Johnson (Tony Rice) of Milaca; grandparents, Janice A. Wokson of Princeton and Larry (Laurie) Wokson of Otsego;  uncle, Mike (Nancy) Kovac and their children, Nicholas and Ryan Kovac of Gainsville, GA;  aunt, Rochelle Kovac and her children, Cassandra Kovac and Danielle Ortiz of Sedona, AZ;  uncle, Lyndon (Renne) Walker and their children, Quinton and Riley Walker of Prior Lake, MN;  uncle, Brad (Sarah) Johnson and their children, Ashley, Christopher and Kayla Johnson of Milaca;  aunt, Lisa (Jeremy) Harrer and their children, Abby and Allie Harrer of Milaca;  also by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Martha Alice Wokson and her great-grandparents and great-uncle on her father's side.
