Robert Anderson

Memorial service for Robert “Bob” Anderson, age 91, of Milaca will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1 PM at Milaca Elim Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Clifton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Tuesday.

Robert “Bob” Anderson was born October 4, 1926 to Gust and Minnie (Lindholm) Anderson at home in Bogus Brook Township.  He was united in marriage to Marilyn Swenson on March 17, 1951 at Milaca United Methodist Church while on leave before his deployment to Korea.  Bob was proud of his military service in Korea and was very involved in the VFW.  He joined his wife, Marilyn, in many bands, playing the harmonica, which he only gave up recently.  Bob’s greatest wish was to make sure his kids were independent, which we are.  Bob was a devoted husband, loving father, and a wonderful friend to many.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn;  children, Jeff (Stephanie) Anderson and Joni (Nicholas) Bowers;  grandchildren, Jordan Bowers, Chelsey Bowers (fiance Drew Hinrichs); great-grandson, Jacoby Bowers; also by many other relatives and friends.
