Nancy Ruis

Nancy Ruis was born September 10, 1960 to Alan and Beulah (Stromwall) Paxton in Milaca, MN. She graduated from Milaca High School in 1979. She was united in marriage to Dan Ruis on August 25, 1984. Nancy worked at the City of Milaca, then owned and operated Milaca Depot Floral. She later worked as a paraprofessional at Milaca High School. She loved to be in her flower gardens and do her flower arrangements. Nancy passed away Friday, January 9, 2026 at Aicota Care Center in Aitkin.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Dan; children, Joe of Pease, Greg (Alyssa) of Rogers and Mitch (Kari) of Milaca; four grandchildren; brothers, Steve (Lisa) Paxton, Brian Paxton and Kevin (Amy) Paxton; sisters, Mary (Jack) Epperson, Gail (Mike) Anderson and Jan (Tim) Faust; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Beulah Paxton; father and mother-in-law, Les and Esther Ruis and brothers, Terry and Mike Paxton.

A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Milaca.
