Marian Dorothy Reed

Marian (Beier) Reed, age 81, of Milaca, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2018.  Memorial services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Pastor Dale Clifton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery near Ogilvie.

Marian was born February 4, 1937 to Herman and Minnie (Yager) Beier in Howard Lake, MN.  At the age of eight, she moved with her family to Ogilvie, MN.  Marian graduated from Ogilvie High School in 1954.  She worked for over twenty years in the administrative office at Milaca Hospital.  She was united in marriage to Frank Reed on April 7, 2000.  Marian enjoyed flowers and gardening, crocheting and dancing and old time music.

The family would like to thank Milaca Elim Home and Guardian Angels Hospice for their loving care.

She is survived by husband, Frank Reed;  son, Randy (Marlo) Bjurman;  daughter, Monica (Craig) Olson;  grandchildren, Nick (Cindy) Bjurman, Colise Bjurman (John Kern), Michael Bjurman (Ashlie Steffenhagen), Brock Olson and Amber Olson;  great-granchildren, Ali Olson and Rylan Bjurman;  sister, Arlin Jones;  brother, Dennis (Marian) Beier;  also by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Minnie Beier and sister, Dianne Piescher.
