Leon Renner

Leon Francis Renner was born June 4, 1943, to Victor, Sr. and Anna (Marshik) Renner, at their home in Lakin Township, on the same family ground on which he passed.

He graduated from Milaca High School, class of 1961.  He married Mildred (Klimek) Renner, and they had 3 children, Lisa, Randy, and Sandy.  He later married his wife, Sandra (Voges) Renner.  Leon was a Heavy Equipment Operator and enjoyed hunting deer and elk.  As an avid outdoorsman, he owned and loved horses his entire life and always had a thriving fruit orchard and vegetable garden.  Leon loved and enjoyed his family and grandkids, camping and fishing.  Leon, with a strong work ethic, worked grading roads up until about a month before his death.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of Cass Lake, MN, and his children, Lisa (Scott) Medrano, of Hope, Kansas, Randy Renner (Tina Helmin) of Pierz, MN, Sandy (Jeffrey) Coley, of Walnut Cove, NC; and two stepdaughters, Amy (Shawn) Kadelbach, and Jessie (Justin) Adelmann;  grandchildren, Alicia and Dylan Renner, Logan, Skylar, and Tanner Medrano, Rollin and Alexis Coley and step-grandchildren, Nathan and Zoe Kadelbach.  

Leon was preceded in heaven by his parents and brothers and sisters and several dear friends and relatives.  Leon, loved by so many, will be deeply missed.
