Lela E. Litfin

A memorial service for Lela E.Litfin, age 93, of Milaca, will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Rev. Daniel Carlson officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Lela E. Litfin was born August 11, 1925 in Litchfield, Minnesota to Alfred and Augusta (Marquardt) Guse.  She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1943 and went to Cosmetology school.  She was a licensed Beautician for many years. She was united in marriage to Thomas Litfin on January 3, 1949 in Litchfield.

Lela was a member of the Legion Auxiliary.

She passed away May 11, 2019 at Heritage of Foley.

Lela is survived by her husband, Tom of 70 years; sons, Jim (Kay) of Milaca, Bob (Darlene) of Saint Cloud; grandchildren, Mindy (Troy) Johnson, Mitchell (Jaclyn), Randy Larsen, and Bill (Carrie) Larsen; great-grandchildren, Braxtyn and Jaydyn Johnson, Danielle Larsen, and Brian Larsen; brother, Bill Guse;

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Michael in 2008.
