Lawrence Marshall Rosenberg, 88, died peacefully on November 30, 2021. Larry was born on February 20, 1933 in Milaca, Minnesota, to Oscar and Mabel Rosenberg, and was part of the Milaca High School graduating class of 1951. From high school, Larry went into the US Army and served for two years in Germany where he had the opportunity to visit many different countries in Europe including France, Italy and Belgium.

Upon his return from the Army, Larry joined with his brother, Rich, and started a construction company called Minnesota Contractors. The business led them to Colorado, where Larry met his first wife, Valerie, and they had two children, Michael and Terre. They spent the next 35 years in Littleton. Larry eventually sold the Minnesota Contractors business but continued in the construction industry until his retirement in 1994.

Larry was a risk-taker and loved working with and helping others. He and his brother and brother-in-law (Dick) started Dick’s Ski & Sports sporting goods store in old town Littleton. Upon retirement, Larry returned to Milaca and married his high school sweetheart (Shirley) and spent his retirement, playing golf, fishing, traveling, and enjoying his grandchildren. Larry was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, who was always willing to jump in and help in any situation regardless of it being family, friends, church, neighbors, or random strangers.

Larry is preceded in death by his first wife Valerie and his second wife Sharon. Larry is survived by his wife Shirley, son Mike (wife Molly and daughter Emelie), daughter Terre (husband Duke and children Vahlera and Daisy), stepdaughter Lynn (children Benjamin, Anna and Sam) and stepsons Dana and Michael (wife Maria and children Greta, Ella, Clare and Lucy).
