Kelli Snell

Kelli Lynne Snell, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 1 PM at the Christian Reformed Church in Pease. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 – 7 PM at the church and continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. 

Kelli was born on October 21, 1965, to Pat Snell and Dawn Blixt in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1984. Kelli wore many hats throughout her life. She worked as a bartender and server in Princeton at the Pine Loft, the VFW, and Long Siding, among other locations. She also worked at Pease Produce and waitressed at the Pease Cafe, making lifelong friends along the way. She later switched gears and proudly graduated from Pine Technical and Community College, earning her LPN in 2018, after which she worked at Allina in Cambridge, Minnesota. 

She was a dedicated member of the Pease Church, where much of the congregation quickly became like family. Some of her favorite hobbies included cooking for a crowd, fishing at Bowstring and other spots with friends and family, taking trips to Florida with "the girls," going on adventures with her high school best friend, Paula, chatting over coffee from open to close, keeping up with the Vikings, Wild, and high school hockey, fishing with her "fishing partner" Kaylor, and spending quality time with those she loved. Her huge heart, immeasurable strength, unwavering faith, and beautiful smile will never be forgotten. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jess and Kay Wilson; parents, Pat Snell, Dawn Blixt, and Jim Geist; and her siblings, Timothy Geist, Anthony Geist and Deborah Geist. 

She is survived by significant other, Tim Steuber (Fairmont, MN); brothers, Jamey (Joleen) Blixt (St. Cloud, MN) and Jim (Sheila) Geist (Milaca, MN); children, Kaleb (Elle) Olson (Hanover, MN), Alesha Olson (Milaca, MN), Alanna (Josh) Nutt (Fairmont, MN), and Lydia Olson (Pease, MN); bonus children, Ashley (Cole) Sharp and Bronson (Katie) Steuber (all of Fairmont, MN); granddaughter, Clara Nutt; bonus grandchildren, Kaylor Ekstrom, Knox and Willa Steuber, and Chevy and Isabella Countryman; niece and nephew, Brooklyn Larson and Henry Larson and by many aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
