Kathy Sanderson

Kathy Hastings Sanderson, age 62, passed away February 7, 2025 in Duluth after a brief battle with cancer. A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 2-5 PM at the Gorecki Community Center in Milaca.

Kathy was born October 9, 1962 in Princeton, Minnesota to Edward “Butch” and Janice (Olness) Hastings. She married Dean Sanderson June 20, 2020. They worked together for several years at Broberg’s Country Store.

Kathy is survived by her children, Jenna (Brian) and Jesse; husband, Dean, father, Butch (Eileen) Hastings; siblings, Kyle (Rita) and family and Krysta (Chad) and family; stepchildren, Jenny (Dewey), Adam (Jen), and Joe (Angie) and their families; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Olness Hastings.
