Kathryn Marie Offerdahl

Memorial visitation for Kathryn Offerdahl, age 75, of Milaca, will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 2 – 5 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Private interment will take place at a later date at Washington Prairie Memorial Cemetery near Mayville, ND. Kathryn Marie Offerdahl was born August 5, 1941 to Ingward and Theresa (Koval) Haugen in Shelly, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Lyle Offerdahl on September 25, 1964 in Sisseton, SD. The family moved to Milaca in 1967 and Kathryn worked at Gorecki Manufacturing for 27 years. She was a big Vikings fan and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Kathryn was known for her potato salad, spam salad and dill pickles. She passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Country Manor in Sartell. She is survived by her children, Jim Haugen of Phoenix, AZ, Tom (Diane) Offerdahl of Sartell, Karen (Dustin) Johnson of Tempe, AZ, Dan (Kristen) Offerdahl of Rugby, ND and Jerry (Delsie) Offerdahl of Milaca; grandchildren, Daniel (Emily) Offerdahl, Nicole (Larry) Calhoun, Jon Offerdahl, Bailey Offerdahl, Marcus Offerdahl, Jessica Offerdahl, Hailey Johnson, Preston Tryba and Victoria Tryba; siblings, Ed (Kathy) Haugen, Jane (Steve) Garcia and David Haugen; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lyle.
