Joanne Wojciechowski

Joanne Marie Wojciechowski, 68, of Foreston, Minnesota, passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born on May 7, 1955, to the late Marlene Hines and Robert Hines. Joanne was a dedicated mother and worked all of her adult life on their chicken farm. 

 

Joanne married Thomas Wojciechowski and welcomed five children, Anthony (Sara), Julie (Michael), James (Elizabeth), Charles (Ashley) and Joseph. She had 15 grandchildren; Kadi, Vince, Connor, Maggie, Kamani, Belle, Brody, Kya, Becca, Hunter, Finnley, Cole, Wyatt, Nolan and Kendall. 

 

Joanne had a variety of interests and hobbies. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends, traveling with her sisters, solving puzzles, crocheting, and spending time in her garden. She volunteered countless hours to local charities and churches. Above all, Joanne cherished her family and loved planning activities for her grandchildren, such as outdoor Jello fights, water games, making gingerbread houses, sewing lessons, jelly making, roller skating and so much more. She was deeply devoted to her prayer life and has assisted many souls. She had a special prayer card that held the names of all those who have gone before her. 

 

Joanne is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Hines and her siblings, Karen Mason and Mark Hines. She is survived by her loving family.

 

Joanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her warm and caring nature will always be remembered. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Blessed Carlo Acutis Youth Group. Contributions can be sent to St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston, MN.
