Jerry Dean Hunt

Jerry Hunt, age 74, of Milaca, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at St. Cloud Hospital.  Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 2 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2 PM on Tuesday at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.

All attending the visitation will be required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines

Jerry Dean Hunt was born October 26, 1945 to Charles Joshua Hunt and Mabel Marie (Klein) in Milaca, Minnesota.  Jerry was born and raised in Milaca and attended Milaca Public Schools.  He was united in marriage to Charlotte Warren on November 20, 1965 at the Milaca Methodist Church.  They resided in Milaca and had three children; Glenda Hunt, Thomas (Stacey) Hunt, and Mary Habiger.  Jerry worked most of his years for Mille Lacs Ag Service.  In later years, he went to work for Crystal Cabinets in Princeton, where he retired after twelve and a half years.  Jerry continued his hobbies of woodworking, fishing, and restoring cars, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Jerry passed away September 10, 2020 at the Saint Cloud Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children, Glenda Hunt and Thomas (Stacey) Hunt; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Anderson, Michael (Brandy) Van Heel, Greg (Faith) Hunt, Tommy Hunt, Jr., Daniel (Cortney) Hunt, Sabrina Habiger, Chelsea Habiger, Heidi Hunt, Hailey Hunt, Allison Habiger, and Lacey Habiger; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; siblings, Alice Dahlblom, Robert (Gretchen) Hunt, James (Shirley) Hunt, Donny (Alice) Hunt, and Larry (Joyce) Hunt.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Charles and Mabel Hunt; daughter, Mary Habinger; and siblings, Phyllis Hunt, Dorothy (Lewis), Bill Hunt, Chuck Hunt, and Harold Hunt.
