Henry Peka

Henry Richard Peka, age 89, of Maple Grove, passed away June 3, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 1 - 3 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.

Henry was born September 16, 1936 in Granite Ledge Township to George and Cecelia Peka. He grew up and attended school in the Milaca area. He was united in marriage to Colleen Jones on July 14, 1956. Henry worked as a machinist at Pako and Graco. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards (500), and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Steven Peka and Catherine Peka; grandchildren, April Peka, Simon and Eric Wersal; and sisters, Mary Jones and Margaret Kent.

Henry was preceded in death by his son, James.
