Gordon Gayle Seehafer

May 11, 1940 — September 12, 2021

Memorial services for Gordon Seehafer, age 81, of Milaca, will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca.  Private interment will take place at a later date.  THE FAMILY ASKS THAT ALL ATTENDING THE SERVICE PLEASE WEAR A MASK.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hansen-Hayes American Legion Post #178 in Milaca.

Gordon Gayle Seehafer was born May 11, 1940 to Anton and Erna (Schulz) Seehafer at Bellvue Township, Morrison County, MN.  He served in the US Army in the Artillery Division from 1963 to 1965.  Gordon was united in marriage to Marcene on March 11, 1992 at Big Lake, MN.  Gordon was a machinist and welder and owned his own shop from 1975 – 2005.  He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, playing cards and going to the casino.  He passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

He is survived by his wife, Marcene;  step-children, Mike (Darlene), John (Mitzi) and Stacey (Dale);  step-grandchildren, Philip, Camryn, Shanna, Codey (Abby), Tyler, Kaylee, Blake, Ciara, Ashley (Zach) and Tyler;  step-great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Aurora;  siblings, Delmar (Bobbie) of Fort Ripley, Delores (John) of Milaca and Elaine (Jim) of Estellene, SD;  also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Beatrice, Arletta, Stanley, David, Darold and Marlyce.
