In a state far far away; Glen Arthur Christensen was beamed into existence by Thelma and Hans Christensen Jr. on the coldest day in St. Croix Falls Wisconsin January 25th, 1958. He was the spoiled baby of six. After a devastating loss by the Vikings, Glen was beamed up from this galaxy on September 22nd, 2022 at the tender age of 64.
He was preceded in death by his parents, but also his Siblings; Hans Fredrick Christensen the III, Lois Kirschbaum (Donald), Sharon Christensen, and Shirley Stoffel.
He was survived by his best friend and ugliest Brother Jerold (Teri) Christensen, Pat Christensen, Nick Stoffel, and the love of his life and cougar Kathleen Engblom and her family. Glen had four children, who were the best kids money could buy; Ramon (Ashley) Christensen, Shannon (Rick) Feuling,Glenda (Jeremey) Rittenour, and Allison Wood. His adored and spoiled 14 Grandchildren he enjoyed so much; Garret, Steven, Isabel, William, Spencer, Camille, Gennavieve, Rosalyn, Zayden, Jonas, Laurelai, Wesley, Claire, Harrison, along with many loved nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins by the dozens.
Glen was a bulll in a China shop. He was known for his cheesy “Dad” jokes and clever puns. He had the most unique sense of humor and loved to make people laugh even at his own expense. Glen could be found with a pack of camel lights in his shirt pocket and drinking bottled Pepsi or Squirt and never drank a sip of water. He was honest and hardworking and would help anyone that asked. He was a selfless and kind hearted human being who cherished family gatherings and traditions. He always put so much thought into how he could make those things more special. Glen loved fishing at the family lake home in Cohasset Mn. He loved bon fires especially with a sing a long. He loved the Beatles and classic rock music. Anyone who could decipher his “Glenbonics” would find themselves laughing until they cried. Glen was the most amazing Father to his four adoring children (who were all his favorite) and his Grandchildren. He loved playing Minecraft with his Grandkids and playing monopoly along with any other boardgame,as long as it was with his family. He loved games so much that he even played Yahtzee solo. Glen was the biggest Vikings fan you would ever meet and never missed a game. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren and always celebrated their successes. Glen always put everyone before himself and knew how to make you feel special. He was incredibly creative and loved dreaming up fun things to do for his family. He loved to share his next big idea or invention to anyone willing to listen. He was a hopeless romantic and wore his heart on his sleeve. Glen was hardworking and took so much pride in everything he created or did. It brought Glen great joy being the “Muffin Man” for the Pearl girls. He always took time to stop and smell the flowers and appreciated all the small things in life. He will be missed by all those who loved him and that he touched throughout his life in this galaxy and beyond.
