Eric Lee Nelson

Funeral services for Eric Nelson, age 14, of Princeton, will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 at 1 PM at New Life Church in Princeton.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Eric passed away Monday, May 15, 2017.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred Eric was a happy energetic 14-year-old boy, who loved living life! He loved riding bike, listening to music, playing with his siblings and his dog, Bella. Eric had a smile on his face that could light up a room. He was always putting other people’s feelings before his own. Eric had big dreams for when he grew up and was excited to be heading to high school, getting a job and starting driver’s education. He touched many people’s lives and will be missed dearly. Eric is survived by his father, Daniel Nelson of Princeton; mother, Laurie Nelson of Duluth; grandparents, Shawn and Bonnie Nelson of Bertha, Stan Blegen Jr, of Duluth and Bonnie Boje of Jacksonville, AR; brother, Tre’ Taylor of Duluth; sisters, Lily Nelson and Lindsay Nelson of Princeton; uncles, Taylor Nelson, Jake Blegen, Russell Blegen, Zachariah Blegen and Isaiah Blegen; aunt, Emma Nelson and fiance, Eric Cruzen; also by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Kathy Nelson, Jerald and Maxine Long and Marilyn and Stan Blegen, Sr.
