Emma Leona Reibestein, age 53 of Fridley, Minnesota, passed away on April 17, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church in Foreston. Interment will follow at St. Edward's Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will take place on hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
She was born January 13, 1972 in Milaca, Minnesota to parents Frank and Barbara (Huonder) Reibestein. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1990. After high school, she attended Anoka Technical College for Culinary Arts. She worked as a cook at Sandborn’s Supperclub in Princeton and St. Benedict Center in St. Cloud. After buying her first house in Sauk Rapids she worked for the next 11 years at Woodcraft in St.Cloud. She then decided to get her accounting degree at Rasmussen College. She started her accounting career at US Water Services in St. Michael then worked at ADX Labs in Minneapolis for the next 10 years. She received her Master’s Degree in accounting at age 50 and was studying for the CPA exam.
Emma had a fantastic talent for crocheting, anything from tiny booties to big blankets. She had a love for books. Her large library consisted of her favorite authors including Stephen King and Janet Evanovich. Her hobby was collecting lions. Whether it was a stuffed animal, statue, or a piece of artwork, you would find multiples in every room of her home. Her main love was her mini schnauzer, Mathias.
Emma is survived by her mother, Barbara Reibestein, and her siblings, Anna Sorenson, Teresa Haertsch, Carl (Lindsey) Reibestein, and Mary Reibestein. Nieces, Kayla, Jessica, Sara; Nephews Alexander and Oliver; Great Niece and Nephew, Nora and Emmett. Preceded in death by her father, Frank Reibestein.
