David Beckers

David Francis Beckers, 72, of Princeton MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 29^th, 2024, at his home after a long battle with cancer. Dave was the son of Wendelin and Alvina Beckers from Watkins MN, and husband to Deb (Cline) Beckers. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant brother Jeffrey. 

He is survived by his wife Deb, and two sons Jeffrey (wife Jennifer) of Princeton, MN, and Jesse (wife Elizabeth) of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and his sister Marlaine Beckers. Dave worked as a parole officer and director of court services in Sherburne County for most of his professional career. Prior to this he was a deputy sheriff in Mille Lacs County.  He was an exceptional athlete and ingrained his love for sports and competition into his family. 

He loved fishing, hunting, and coaching his children and grandchildren in baseball and hockey. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
