Dale was born on March 29, 1933, in his grandmother’s home in Oak Park, Minnesota, to Hewart and Emma (Mattson) Siemers. He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served during the Korean War.

On August 4, 1955, Dale was united in marriage to Mary Wilken. Together, they made their home in Milaca, Minnesota, where they spent their entire married life and raised their family. Dale worked as a farmer and truck driver and also managed a gas station in Milaca. He was a longtime and devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Dale enjoyed the simple things in life and especially valued the time spent with others. He looked forward to his social morning coffee and dice games, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
