Clara Caroline Bergstrom

Funeral services for Clara Bergstrom, age 97, of Milaca, will be held Saturday, June 24 2017 at 11 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bock with Pastor Beverly Robinson and Pastor Dale Clifton officiating.  Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.Clara C. Bergstrom was born July 8, 1919 to John and Julia Krona in Dalbo, MN. She was united in marriage to Warner Bergstrom on June 17, 1939 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bock. The couple made their home on the Bergstrom home farm. Clara worked for many years as a CNA at Milaca Elim Home. Clara was known for her apple pies and beautiful quilts. The coffee pot was always on. Clara loved to ice fish, and she passed this love of fishing on to her three sons. Clara passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Milaca Elim Home. She is survived by her sons Carl John (Diane) of Milaca and Julian (Janice) of Plymouth; daughter-in-law Kaye Bergstrom of Maple Grove; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Warner and son David.
