Bonnie Sjoberg

Join family and friends to honor the life of Bonnie Sjoberg of Milaca, formerly of Anoka, MN; she passed away February 8, 2026, age 84. The service will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Milaca at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13th. Visitation begins one hour prior to the service.

Bonnie was born on May 13, 1941, in Minneapolis to parents, Winston and Freddie Moline. She attended Roosevelt High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Home Economics. Bonnie taught school in Fond du Lac, WI, and Shakopee, MN, then designed home interiors for Dayton’s before marrying and raising children.

Bonnie spent a lifetime sharing her gifts and talents, creating something for others throughout her life. From inventing double-handed cookware to improve accessibility in the kitchen to patenting her frozen, Blue Ribbon Pastry Board, Bonnie’s talents knew no bounds. Whether it was baking, sewing, quilting, knitting, woodcarving, crafting, costuming the community theater, ballooning as a clown, or prop building at the Medora Musical, Bonnie did it all, even welding in the blacksmith shop and discing fields on the farm.

Dedicated to her family, church, community, and country, Bonnie was an advocate for accountability in our schools, mental health services, access for those with disabilities, and persons with chronic health conditions. She shared Chrismons with her faith communities, served as Worthy Matron for Kedron Chapter #120 (OES) and spent countless hours volunteering.

Bonnie and husband, Warren, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary last April at their Century Farm located south of Bock where they lived for 35 years. Bonnie is survived by her husband, younger sister, two children, three stepchildren, and beloved grandchildren.
