Avis Delores Glammeier

Funeral services for Avis Glammeier will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Avis Delores Glammeier was born July 05, 1928 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Anton and Dina (Christensen) Johnson. She grew up in Sioux Falls. She worked in as a school bus driver in Princeton. She also worked at the Tallyho Café in Elk River. Avis enjoyed crocheting, baking, flower gardening and pheasant hunting. She passed away June 14, 2017 at the Luther Haven Home in Montevideo. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Mike) Miner of Oak Grove, Steve (Barb) of Big Lake, Donald, Jr. of Longville, and Tim of Montevideo; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Johnson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Avis was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mike; daughter, Julie; brother, Edwin and sister, Patricia.
