Audrey Broberg

Audrey M. Broberg, age 95, of Milaca, passed away May 23, 2026 at CentraCare Hospital in Saint Cloud. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11 AM at the church on Saturday.

Audrey was born to Floyd and Marion (Hirschi) Weaver in Milaca, MN on May 30, 1930. She graduated from Milaca High School in 1948, then moved to Minneapolis to work until marrying Donald Broberg on September 1, 1951. She lived on the family farm for 75 years, where she and Don raised their six children. Baking bread every Saturday and serving family and extended family Sunday dinners were weekly events. Her birthday club became her lifelong friends. Later in her life, she worked at Broberg’s Country Store.

She is survived by children, Diane (Duane) Dahlstrom, Douglas (Jan) Broberg, Denise (Shawn) Walker, Donna Dircks, David (Laura) Broberg, and Daniel Broberg; grandchildren, Doug (Darla) Broberg, Jr., Katie (Tony) Zens, Eric (Tessa) Dahlstrom, Emily (Paul) Deede, Jessica (Ben) Hollenkamp, Hannah (Tyson) Brown, Elyse (Nick) Kremer, Jon Dircks, Ross (Sam) Broberg, Anne (Brian) Jovet, Abby (Keith) Grife, Tori (Kyle) Johnsen, Austin (Alyssa) Broberg, Sydnee (Jesse) Pigman, Sawyer (Jackson) Broberg; 32 great-grandchildren with two on the way; brother, Marvin Weaver; sisters-in-laws, Dolly Narey, Carol Broberg; many nieces and nephews.

Audrey was preceded in death by husband, Donald; parents; son-in-law, Dave Dircks; brothers, Merle, Morris, and sister, Carol Haley.
