Alan Cornelius

Celebration of life for Alan Earl Cornelius, age 62, of Rockford, MN will be held Saturday March 9, 2024 at the Rockford Riverview Estates main office building, 135 Highview Road, Rockford, MN from 11 AM – 4 PM. 

 He enjoyed fishing and camping, was a veteran’s outreach counselor and a foster parent to many children. 

He is preceded in death by parent, Marylin Knoll and Marvin Knoll;  parent, Earl Cornelius;  brothers Joel Cornelius and Richard Cornelius and sister, Bonnie (Larry) Davis. 

He is survived by wife, Laura Ross Cornelius; children, Stephanie Pakenham, Dwayne Cornelius, Dan Cornelius, Gerald Weineck and Tom (Sarah) Weineck;  parent, Robert Burlingame; grandchildren, Xander Cornelius, Merrick Cornelius, Corbin Cornelius, Wyatt Weineck, Luna Weineck, Lydia Bruber, Teagan Weineck and Camden Weineck;  siblings, Robert (Diane) Cornelius, Brian Cornelius, Michael (Gretchen) Cornelius, Anjanette Cornelius;  nephews and nieces, Sarah (Paul) Norton, Amy Davis, Kari (Andrew) Stern, Brayden Cornelius, Addison Cornelius and Andrew Eggersgluss and aunts, uncles, in-laws family and friends.
