Funeral services for Mary Eisenzimmer, age 71, of Milaca, will be held Saturday, December 03, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Milaca Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Dan Clausen, Rev. Tom Sahlstrom, and Rev. John Sahlstrom officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 02, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Mary Elaine Eisenzimmer was born May 22, 1945 in Milaca, Minnesota to Nathaniel and Emma (Eggen) Sahlstrom. She grew up in Milaca and graduated from Milaca High School in 1963. She was united in marriage to George Boyer on June 18, 1966, to the union four children were born- Mark, Vincent, Kristine, and Todd. On June 11, 1988, she married Ed Eisenzimmer. She was employed by the Milaca Elim Home for over twenty years. She loved working with the residents and in later years, she loved being a resident there. Mary enjoyed canning, going to garage sales, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and last but not least, card making. She was a member of the Milaca Evangelical Free Church and was active in White Cross. She passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Saint Cloud Hospital. She is survived by her children, Mark Boyer of Milaca, Vincent (Janita) Boyer of Blaine, Kristine (Jason) Hirsch of Alexandria, and Todd Boyer of Milaca; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and one due in May; brothers, Paul (Carol) Sahlstrom and John Sahlstrom, both of Milaca; special cousin, Peter Sahlstrom of Milaca; lifelong friend, Joan Petersen of Milaca; also numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Judy Sahlstrom; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sahlstrom; husband, Ed Eisenzimmer, and special friend, Tom Smith.
