Shelly Jo Riisager

Services for Shelly Riisager, age 44, of Minneapolis, formerly of Victoria, will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at 4 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Shelly Jo Riisager was born June 30, 1972 to Gary and Joan (Rust) Riisager in Edina, MN. She was raised in Victoria, MN and graduated from Chaska High School in 1990. She went on to earn an AA degree from Normandale Community College. Shelly lived most of her adult life in and around Minneapolis. She worked for Sabris Property and for the past 14 years she has been with Empire Door and Glass. Shelly considered Empire her second family. She was an avid reader and loved her books. Shelly was passionate about all animals and she especially adored her “boys”, Zoey and Sebastian. She passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016. She is survived by her parents, Gary and Joan Riisager of Foreston; brother, Brian (Jodi) Riisager of Cedar; nieces and nephew, Rylee, Reese and Cole Riisager; her special “boys”, Zoey and Sebastian; also by many other family members and friends.
