Steven Allen Ryan

Steven Allen Ryan, age 43, of Isanti, formerly of Milaca, passed away October 11, 2016 at the age of 43. A celebration of his life was held October 15, 2016 in Milaca MN. Steven was born in Milaca, MN on March 15, 1973 to Roger and Patricia Ryan. He grew up in Bock and Mora and attended school in Milaca and Mora. He took college courses at Cambridge Community College and Dunwoody College. Steven had a passion for fixing cars, tinkering with electronics and building stuff. He prided himself on being a Jack-of-all-trades master of none.  In reality if he was good at something, he was really good. Boy if he didn’t know what he was doing did he leave one heck of a mess but he wasn’t giving up! He will always be known for his great ideas at bizarre times and unfinished projects due to those great ideas. His most prized possession was his 1979 Chevy Camaro. Steven loved being surrounded by friends and was known as a jokster as he loved to make people laugh. Steven married his high school sweetheart Jennifer on September 18th, 1995 in Watertown, SD. They had 4 children; Gage (24), Zavier (11), Alantis (11) and Caden (9) Ryan of Isanti. Sadly after a 23-year relationship, a few years back, they separated; but Jennifer continued to reach out to him and support him. Steven is survived by the mother of his children, Jennifer Jameston and their children, Gage, Zavier, Alantis and Caden Ryan of Isanti; mother Patricia (Dennis) Persson of Ash Grove, MO; father Roger (Janet) Ryan of Milaca; sisters, Denise Ryan and Connie Renner, both of Milaca; step siblings, Dionne (Mike) Haberman, Brandee(Rob) Kelash, and Kris (Joline) Broschofsky; great grandma, Margaret Johnson of Sauk Rapids; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great niece of Minnesota and Oklahoma. Steven is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Johnson of Milaca; grandmother, Evelyn Ryan of Atoka OK; grandfather, Cliff Ryan of Milaca MN; and by stepbrother, Chad Broschofsky of Milaca MN.
