Frank Kuperus

Funeral services for Frank Kuperus, age 90, of Milaca, will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11 AM at the Christian Reformed Church in Pease with Rev. Michael Ten Haken officiating. Interment will follow at Pease Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM Friday at the Christian Reformed Church and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Frank Kuperus was born August 10, 1925 near Pease, MN to John and Hanna (Siebenga) Kuperus. Frank married Ruth Rindels on March 28, 1947. They worked the farm on which he was born until 2001, when Ruth passed away. Frank also drove school bus for many years. In 2001, he moved to Milaca. Frank was a lifetime member of the Christian Reformed Church of Pease and served many years on the council. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and going to the coffee shop to discuss anything that came up. Frank also enjoyed going to dinner with special friend, Florence Vedders. He enjoyed family gatherings with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren. Frank passed away at his home in Milaca on Sunday, June 26, 2016. He is survived by his children, Mitch (Edie) Kuperus of Milaca and Larry (Elaine) Kuperus of Milaca; grandchildren, Jan (Russ) Jude of Milaca, Jeff (Char) Kuperus of Milaca, Matt (Joanna) Kuperus of Cloquet, Mike Kuperus of Roanoke TX, Greg Kuperus of Big Lake; great- grandchildren, Grant Kolb, Megan Kolb, Morgan (Amanda) Berry, Dutch Kuperus, Maja Kuperus and Olivia Kuperus; great-great grandchildren, Paisley Berry, Jack Berry; two sisters, Julia Janssen and Grace Ubben of Iowa and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; brothers, Sam and John and sisters Tena, Minnie, Gertrude and Lena.
