Daniel Ray Moorlag

Daniel Ray Moorlag, age 55, of Cold Spring, formerly of Milaca, peacefully passed on June 16, 2016 at his home. Memorial visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 from 5 - 8 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. He was born December 24,1960 in Milaca, the first-born son of Dowert and Dee Dee Moorlag. Dan went to vocational school in St. Cloud for carpentry and worked in cabinet making for many years. His next adventure was becoming a real estate agent for Premier Real Estate. He also was a lover of golf, bowling, and fishing with any free time he had. Survivors include his wife, Janeen Moorlag of Cold Spring; brothers, Donald (Julee) of Pease and Duane Moorlag of Pease; children; Britani (Casey) Christenson of Mankato and Corianna (Timothy) Hackbarth of Otsego; son, Alexander Moorlag; granddaughter, Madyson; mother-in-law, Marge Hiemenz and brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Karen) Hiemenz, Jane Gottwald, Jacque Hiemenz, Jennifer (Chuck) Krebsbach all of Cold Spring; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Darin, and father-in-law, Jim Hiemenz.
