Michael Joseph Strohmayer

Mass of Christian Burial for Michael Strohmayer, age 37, will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milaca with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. He passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his residence. Michael Strohmayer was born to John and Kathleen (Wetterling) Strohmayer on February 6, 1979 in Cambridge, Minnesota. He grew up in the Princeton and Mora areas, graduating from Mora High School in 1997. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, spending time with his nieces and nephews, welding, woodworking, and watching the Minnesota Vikings. He is survived by his parents, John and Kathleen; brothers and sisters, John (Mary) Strohmayer, Jr., Tonya (Jake) Kindseth, Stephen (Tina) Strohmayer, Angela (Mike) Sproessig, and Constance Strohmayer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve and Teresa Strohmayer and Everett and June Wetterling.
