Willis "Bill" Norrs

Willis "Bill" Norrs, age 77, of Milaca, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his home near Milaca. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 4 - 6 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Willis Oscar “Bill” Norrs was born November 21, 1938 to Melvin and Martha (Haugan) Norrs in McIntosh, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Gloria Freeland on August 02, 1963 in South Dakota. Bill was in the National Guard during high school and served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the U.S. Government in weights and measures, specializing in scales. He loved to tinker on old cars and trucks and took great pride in getting them running. He passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2016 at his residence. Bill is survived by his wife, Gloria; brothers and sisters, Gene Norrs of West Layden, NY, Mia (Norrs) Harris of Yuma, AZ; nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Martha; brother, David and sister, Marcie.
