Walter Frederick Capps

Walter Capps, age 75, of Foley, formerly of Milaca, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Cloud Hospital. Interment will take place on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Assembly Area #3. Walter Frederick Capps was born May 25, 1940 to Jack and Evelyn (House) Capps in Gillette, WY. He served in U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. Walter was a Vietnam War Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Smart on December 21, 1966 in Webster City, IA. He is survived by sons, Michael (Carrie) and Walter Jr. (Pamela); grandchildren, Paige (Andrew) Atwood, Mariette (Constantine) Broadbent, Kyle Capps and Brianna Capps; also by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia in 2008 and brother, Robert.
