From 1966 to 1986, Dorothy worked at the Milaca Area Hospital until her retirement. After retirement, she volunteered for thirty years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Milaca Elim Home and the senior dining site (where she played in the kitchen band), retired senior volunteer program, member and volunteer of the Milaca United Methodist Church, 410 Club, Milaca senior citizens activity club, the Milaca card club, and member and volunteer of American Legion Auxiliary. Grandma D loved spending time with her four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Dorothy passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. She is survived by her two sons, Charles III (Yosiea) of Milaca and John of Mora; grandchildren, Cindy (Ryan) Olson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Charles IV (Amee) Cooper of Milaca, Steven (Becky) Cooper of Milaca, and Colleen (Wade) Lance of Saint Stephen; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Riley, Charles V, Andy, Joey, Taylor, Addison, Jacob, and Luke; many other relatives and friends.
