Gerald Clifford Hammill

Graveside services for Gerald Hammill, age 79, will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11 AM at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton. A lunch will follow at 12 Noon at Zion Lutheran Church in Princeton. Gerald Clifford Hammill was born February 6, 1936 in Princeton, MN to Clifford and Laura (Polsfuss) Hammill. Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years as a machinist. Jerry passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Talahi Nursing Center in St. Cloud. He is survived by his six children, Carleen Scheel of Milaca, Kathy Tougas of Milaca, Denise White of Clearwater, Stuart Hammill of Pine City, Tia Lisa Erickson of Marine on St. Croix and Dean Hammill of Sandstone; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Hammill of Washington, Larry Hammill of Crosby and Charles Hammill of Milaca; sister, Patricia Meleen of Princeton; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gerald “Jerry” Allen Hammill; sisters, Joy Maxam, Delores Jensen and Joyce Eli and brother, Douglas Hammill.
