Kevin Gary Dye

A memorial gathering for Kevin Dye, age 49, of Onamia, will be held on Sunday, November 23rd at 1 PM at the Rolf Olson Community Center in Onamia. Kevin passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Milaca. Kevin Gary Dye was born in Onamia, Minnesota on June 10, 1965 to Gary and Sharen Dye. He attended Onamia High School where he played football and enjoyed spending time with his close friends. He graduated in 1983, a year his football team nearly made it to state. He worked at various jobs over the years including bus driving and over the road trucking, but his passion was farming. He married Barbara Hanna in 1991 and was married for 13 years while they lived on the family farm. Kevin is survived by his parents, Gary and Sharen Dye of Onamia MN; former wife, Barbara Dye of Onamia MN; sister, Karyl (Dave) Ruprecht; nephew, Zachary of Zimmerman MN; brother, Kenny (Lisa) Dye of Isanti, MN; nephew, Clayton and nieces, Meggan and Mckena of Isanti, and a large extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Faye Dye and Emil and Dora Lovaas, as well as uncles, aunts and cousins.
