Delores Olson

Funeral services for Delores Olson, age 94, of Milaca, will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lighthouse Fellowship in Milaca with Rev. Robben Gitzel and Rev. Darryl Olson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place in the Wendell Hill Cemetery near Milaca. t Delores Olson was born April 10, 1920 in Milaca, Minnesota to Leo and Edith (Abrahamson) Reed. She was united in marriage to Andrew Olson in October 27, 1937. They made their home in Milaca. She worked at the Milaca Elim Home as a nurse’s aide. She worked in the shoe store with Andy that began in Milaca, then Crosby, and finally in Pine City. She then returned to Milaca. She passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Milaca Elim Home. Delores is survived by son, Darryl (Kathy) Olson of Dresser, Wisconsin, Darwin (Nora) Olson of Plymouth, and Robert (Lee) of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandson; five brothers, two sisters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew; two sisters and two brothers.
