Freda Pap

Funeral services for Freda Pap, age 94, of Pease, will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pease Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Dale Swan officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Interment will take place in the Pease Cemetery. Freda Pap was born July 17, 1920 to John and Hilda (Wilkins) DeJong in Pease, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Sidney Pap on January 29, 1941 in Pease, Minnesota. She lived most of her years in the Milaca/Pease area. She worked at Pease Produce and also was a janitor at the Community Christian School in Pease for 32 years. Freda enjoyed reading, embroidering, taking trips with her family, family picnics, and singing in the Elim choir. She passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Milaca Elim Home. She is survived by her son, Harlan (Pauline) Pap of Milaca and daughter, Sandy (Gary) Craft of Foley; daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Pap of Isle; ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Kathryn (Jim) Aufderhar of White Bear Lake; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney on January 10, 1992 and two sons, John on February 7, 2004 and James on March 20, 1997. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Pease Christian Reformed Church or the Community Christian School in Pease.
