Gary Earl Oleen

Funeral Services for Gary E. Oleen, age 71, of St. Cloud, will be held Monday, June 9th at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church, Milaca with Pastor Adrian Bolt officiating. Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock. Visitation will be from 2 – 5 PM Sunday at the First Baptist Church and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Gary Earl Oleen was born October 8, 1942, in Milaca, MN, to George & Joyce (Johnson) Oleen. He married Jane Oelkers on April 23, 1966 at Dalbo Baptist Church in Dalbo, MN. Gary lived in Milaca until 1968 when his family moved to Morris and then to Saint Cloud in 1989. He owned and operated Oleen Ag Air until the time of his accident. He enjoyed flying his helicopter, building hot rods, spending time with his grandchildren, and visiting with his friends at Caribou Coffee. Gary passed away Thursday, June 5th at the St. Cloud Hospital after suffering injuries in a helicopter accident on May 28th. Gary is survived by his wife, Jane; son, Craig of Sauk Rapids; daughter Kori (Ed) Sanders of Hutchinson; 3 grandchildren, Jack, Ben, and Katie Sanders; great-granddaughter, Layla; brother, Richard (Nhung) of Bethesda, MD; sisters, Bonnie (Roger) Young of Sartell, Barbara (Les) Millam of Milaca, and Gayle (Paul) Ash of Milaca; sister-in-law, Mary Oleen of Milaca; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stuart and brother-in-law, Dan Nelson.
