Katrina Maetzold

Funeral service for Katrina Maetzold, age 13, of Milaca, will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at 11 AM at the Milaca Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Dan Clausen officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM on Tuesday at the Milaca Evangelical Free Church and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Katrina Maetzold Memorial Fund, PO Box 33, Milaca, MN 56353. Katrina Elizabeth Maetzold passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. She was a passionate girl who lived life to the fullest. Katrina will be remembered as a loving daughter and a caring sister. She loved writing and playing basketball. Katrina was also a talented artist. She used Youtube to express her talent and was really excited about how much interest people had taken in her artwork online. She was even hosting an art competition through Youtube. Katrina will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her siblings, Tristen, Patience, Devin, Trinti and Eva; father, Lanny Maetzold; mother, Misty Neuhart; step-father, Nate Neuhart; grandparents, Larry Maetzold and Dan and Betty Miller; she is also survived by many other relatives, close friends and her entire 8th grade class. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Catherine Maetzold.
