Anna Margaret Gotwald

Memorial mass for Anna M. Gotwald, age 99, of Foley, will be held Saturday, October 05, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca with Father James Remmerswaal, OSC, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Anna’s family, friends, and caregivers. Interment will take place in the Saint Mary’s Cemetery. Anna Margaret Gotwald was born December 04, 1913 to Andrew and Helen (Durkos) Gotvald in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm in Morrison County. She moved to California, where she lived for over seventy years. She returned to Minnesota in 2009. Anna enjoyed golfing and being with family and friends. She passed away Thursday, October 03, 2013 at the Foley Nursing Center. Anna is survived by brother, Joseph (Florence “Terry”) Gotvald of Foley; sister-in-law, Margaret Gotvald of Foley; 18 nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John and George; sister, Helen; sister-in-law, Clara.
