Virgil had a deep concern for the spiritual welfare of his entire family and those who crossed his path. He passed away at his home in Milaca on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Virgil is survived by Lillian, his loving wife of 68 years; daughter, Carol (Carl) Nelson; sons, Doug (Rose), Dick (Cindy), Kevin (Susan); 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Vernette Swanson; also many other relatives and friends.
