Nancy Myklestad Cronk

Nancy Cronk, age 64, of Milaca, formerly of Scottdale, AZ, passed away at her home near Milaca on Friday, May 31, 2013. At her request, no services will be held at this time. Memorials are requested to Fairview Hospice, American Cancer Center or Coborn’s Cancer Center. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca. Nancy Myklestad Cronk was born February 12, 1949 at Urbana, IL to Nils and Dorothea (Gerisch) Myklestad. She was united in marriage to Peter D. Cronk, Sr. in Scottsdale, AZ in 1966. Nancy worked for thirty years as a neonatal intensive care unit nurse in Phoenix, AZ and St. Cloud, MN. She loved reading, quilting and oil painting. Nancy and Peter enjoyed many activities together over their forty-seven years of marriage including boating, camping, fishing, and playing with their grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Peter D. Cronk Sr., of Milaca; children, Peter D. Cronk, Jr. and wife, Karen of DeWitt, MI and Elizabeth A. Helmin and husband, Alan of Milaca; grandchildren, Christopher (13), Myles (5), Sophie (10), Campbell (7) and Cooper (4); siblings, Erik of Seattle, WA and Ingrid of San Francisco, CA. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Ava (in Heaven at two weeks of age); brother, Rolf (18) and her parents and grandparents.
