Gladys Elaine Anderson

Funeral service for Gladys Anderson, age 89, of Milaca, will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11 AM at the Milaca Assembly of God with Pastor Robben Gitzel officiating. Interment will follow at the Borgholm Cemetery near Bock. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Gladys Elaine Anderson was born December 17, 1923 near Milaca, MN to Egnar and Selma (Eggert) Nelson. She grew up near Milaca and attended District 28 country school. Gladys then moved to Pierz and was united in marriage to Otto Hennix. She moved to Milaca in 1953 and was then united in marriage to Albert N. Anderson. Gladys enjoyed playing cards, scrabble and watching the Minnesota Twins games. She will always be remembered as a huge Green Bay Packers fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Gladys passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013. She is survived by her children, Gloria Weaver of Foley, Mike Hennix of Rice, Donald Hennix of Anoka, Betty (Richard) Noack of Milaca, Steven Anderson of Milaca, Paul Anderson of Milaca, Randy Anderson of Milaca and Karen Anderson of St. Cloud; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Pat) Nelson of Sartell; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Antonette; husbands, Otto Hennix and Albert N. Anderson; sons, Milo, Lowell and Brent; daughter, Linda; grandsons, Jeremy and a baby boy; sisters, Marion Johnson and Darlene Benson; daughter-in-law, Delores Hennix and son-in-law, Morris Weaver.
